Bus Driver – We are looking for a retired bus driver or an individual with a CDL license to drive our big bus to assist in helping kids get from school to the YMCA for the After School Program. This individual must pass DCFS finger printing and Federal Background Checks. The hours are M-F from 2:00 pm- 4:00 pm.
Lifeguards – Under the supervision of the Aquatics Coordinator and Wellness Director, the Lifeguard is responsible for providing a safe, enjoyable and positive environment that promotes member wellness and engagement in accordance with the YMCA core values, policies and procedures. Current openings are 8:00am-12:00pm, 12:00-3:00pm, 3:00-6:00pm and 6:00-9:00pm and weekend shifts.
Summer Camp Counselor – Looking for energetic people who enjoy kids and like to cook and bake, theater majors, dancers, adventure seekers, gardeners, educators or people going into the Education Field. Are you a team player, enjoy sports, do you know sign language, enjoy working out? Do you like the warm weather? Do you like to take road trips? Part-time, must be able to pass a background check and finger printing through DCFS. 21 years and older are encouraged to apply.
Swim Lessons Instructors – We are in need of EXPERIENCED instructors to teach lessons on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Water Aerobics Instructor – Looking for an energetic, upbeat person to instruct water aerobics in the afternoon; Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1:30-2:30pm.
Welcome Desk – Looking for friendly individuals Tuesday-Thursday at 5:00am and Mondays between 9:00am-5:00pm. The Welcome Desk Customer Service staff will interact with the members and up hold the member experience standards. They will be the daily point of contact for members, determining their needs and offering solutions to meet these needs. They will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service to Y members, program participants and guest.
